FLORENCE-On September 29, at approximately 1:30 PM, Officers responded to a domestic violence call to the 300 block of Crestwood Drive.
The complainant advised that he and his son, David Creecy, 37 years from Florence, had gotten into an argument over David getting a job. David had grabbed his arm and neck, causing busing to his arm. Officers arrested David for Domestic Violence 3rd degree.
The father was taken to One Place of the Shoals, where he was examined further. After further investigation, David Creecy was charged with Domestic Violence, Strangulation, Elderly Abuse, and Neglect 2nd Degree.
David Creecy is being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $60,000 bond.
