FLORENCE-On March 6, 2025 Detectives with the Florence Police Department came into contact with Logan Wright, 29, while following up on a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
After speaking with Wright, it was determined that a search warrant for evidence of child exploitation was necessary.
Investigators executed a search warrant on Wright’s apartment and located several electronic devices that he indicated

would contain evidence of child exploitation. These items were seized and forensically examined. Detectives reviewed the evidence from these devices, and then contacted the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office.
After a preliminary review of the evidence and discussion with the District Attorney’s Office, a warrant was obtained for Possession of obscene matter containing visual depictions of persons under 17 years of age involved in obscene acts. On April 8, 2025 Florence Police Detectives and Officers with the Florence Police C.O.P.S unit located and arrested Wright.
Logan Wright was charged with five counts of Possession of Obscene matter containing visual depictions of persons under 17 years of age involved in obscene acts (Ala. 13A-12-192) he was transported to the Lauderdale County Detention Center at the time of arrest, where he has a $75,000 bond.
Logan Wright is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
