FLORENCE-On July 8, 2024, officers responded to a disorderly conduct call on Cypress Mill Rd. Upon arrival, they found Nathan Gooch inside the apartment. It was discovered that he had multiple outstanding felony warrants.

As officers tried to establish contact with Nathan, he fled through the back door into the wooded area behind the apartment. Officer Green spotted Nathan using his drone. A perimeter was established, Officer Whitten and his K9 partner Murph began tracking Nathan.
Nathan was tracked, located, and captured on Dixie Avenue with the assistance of COPS, FPD Detectives, and FPD Day B Patrol. He was arrested for attempting to elude and for his outstanding warrants.
Nathan Gooch is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
