Florence K-9 Units Place Well In National Trials

FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department released a press statement concerning their K-9 Officers and dogs in which they competed in United States Police Canine Association’s 2023 National Field Trials:
“Florence Police K9 Officers Sam Garrison and Bryant Letsinger represented the Florence Police Department at the United States Police Canine Association’s 2023 National Field Trials last week in Foley, AL. Officer Garrison and his K9 partner Aero, along with Officer Letsinger and his K9 partner Jett, competed both individually and as part of a four person team. Their team included fellow handlers from Albertville, AL and Chattanooga, TN, all members of USPCA Region 22. They faced stiff competition as they competed against 80 K9 teams representing 38 different agencies, some of the best Police K9 teams from across the country!
Officer Garrison and Letsinger’s USPCA Region 22 team placed 5th overall. Officer Letsinger and Jett placed 3rd in obedience and 20th overall.
Congratulations to Officer Garrison and Officer Letsinger for a job well done and thank you Aero and Jett for all your hard work!”
