A Celebration of Life Service for Florence Glisson, 87, of Corinth, MS will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel officiated by Bro. Warren Jones and Bro. David George with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 5-8 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel. Florence was born on February 15, 1936 to the late John and Gladys Medford Roberts and passed away on December 30, 2023. She retired after 45 years with United Pioneer Corp as manager and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Killough and husband Kenny; her son, William Wade Glisson and wife Cindy; her grandchildren, Michael Killough (Mica), Matthew Killough (LaChelle), Joshua Killough, Jesse Killough, and Katie Glison; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life for 59 years, Billy Wade Glisson; her brothers, David Roberts, Willard Roberts, Woody Roberts, Malvin Roberts; and her sisters, Frances Coogan and Wanda Kilby.
