Mayor Mickey Haddock is pleased to announce a CITYWIDE CLEAN-UP EVENT to be held on Saturday, May 3, at the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum. Mayor Haddock, city employees, and volunteers will team up to target street rights-of-way that are heavily littered. Volunteers will meet in the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum parking lot or previously designated area at 8:00 a.m. The event will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Participants will be provided vests, gloves, and bags, as well as breakfast and lunch.
In honor of Earth Month, the Mayor would like to encourage all citizens to help clean up our beautiful city.
