A Celebration of Life Service for Flora Jean Smith, 80 of Corinth, MS. will be Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Levi Burcham will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 11:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mrs. Smith passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born March 30, 1944 in Alcorn County, MS to Charles R. Woodall and Minnie Tigner Woodall. She was a retired 1st grade teacher’s assistant at Alcorn Central Elementary and a member of Gospel Tabernacle. Flora is survived by her husband John E. Smith; her sons, Randall Scott Harville (Patricia), David Shane Harville (Stacy); daughter, Melissa Harville; step daughters, Rachel Dunn (Steve) and Simone Warner; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; her sister, Willie White (Johnny); her lifelong best friend, Pat McNair; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Heather Mayo; her step-son, Reuben Earl Smith; her father, Charles R. Woodall; her mother, Minnie Tigner Woodall; her brothers, Will Woodall, Raymond Woodall, Ernest Woodall and Billy Joe Woodall and her sister and brother-in-law, Faye Hollaway (Hubert). Family members will serve as pallbearers. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Flora Jean Smith.
