Flora E. (Dill) Brown passed away on December 14, 2018, at the age of 94. She was one of eight children born to Isaac and Mamie (McRight) Dill and was raised in the Crooked Oak community. Mrs. Brown lived most of her adult life in Tupelo, Mississippi, before returning to her native Alabama in 2016.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Brown; their only son, Gary Brown; her five brothers, Gilbert, Raymond, Ernest, Hollis, and Marlow Dill; and one sister, Mamie Amos.
She is survived by a sister, Stella Byrd, of Tuscumbia, and several nieces and nephews.
Lee Memorial Funeral Home in Tupelo is handling funeral arrangements.
The family expresses appreciation to the staff of Brookdale Shoals assisted living facility, of Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and of Community Care Hospice for their care of Mrs. Brown.
She was blessed with a long and full life in which she honored her Lord and brought joy to those around her.
