Fleda Mae Loden Payne – Obituary

Fleda Mae Loden Payne, 95, died Thursday, June 8, 2017, at The Meadows. She was born August 3, 1921, in Itawamba County to John Elbert and Ethel Murphy Loden. She was a salesperson in the retail industry and a Baptist in belief. She loved watching television.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Doug Bridges officiating. Burial will be in the Walton Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Payne Davidson (Charles) of Aberdeen and Dixie Payne Smith of Pontotoc; one brother, Robert Loden of Fulton; one sister, Brenda Gambrell (Lindy) of Tupelo; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Douglas Payne; four sisters, infant Edith Loden, Ruth Ballard, Dorothy Wingate, and Helen Mason; and one brother, James Carlton Loden.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
