SCOTSBORO-The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statment concerning a stabbing death near Flat Rock. A man has been arrested and charged with killing his son:
“On August 5, 2022 at around 4:00 AM the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting that a person had been stabbed outside a residence on County Road 197 in Flat Rock, Alabama.
Deputies responded and located a 21 year old victim (Damian Blaze WADE) who had an apparent stab wound to his body along with the suspect (Steven Ryan WADE age 40 of Flat Rock). The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Based on the preliminary investigation, Steven WADE was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail. Steven WADE was charged with Murder and bond has not yet been set.”
