ROGERSVILLE – This Saturday is 1st Saturday. The downtown merchants are hosting their 1st annual Spring Craft Fair from 10 am to 7 pm. The Chamber will have a booth that will have flower pots and bird houses for the kids to paint. The pots and houses are $3 each. The kids can paint while mom shops. Also, the Chamber will have chalk available for the kids to draw in the street and on the sidewalks. Chalk fun is free.
The Kiwanis Club will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs until 3 pm and will be set up on Lee Street. Clay’s Pizza will be selling slices on Lee Street as well. The Chamber will have water and drinks for sell.
The United Methodist Church will show a family friendly movie at 7:30 pm in Heritage Park. All are welcome.
The Volunteer Fire Department will host their fish/chicken/shrimp fry from 4 pm to 7 pm.
We are still taking applications for craft booths. For an application visit Artisan Fair on Lee Street or apply Saturday morning between 8 and 9 am at Artisan Fair. The fee is $15. Home made crafts only.
