THE SHOALS-There will be two locations where fireworks can be seen this July 4th. Darrell and Teri Goins of Leighton welcome you to there home and the City of Cherokee will host a fireworks display on July 4th evening.
JULY 4TH FIREWORKS SHOW 2020
The 4th of July is almost here, and Danny Richardson is already getting geared up for the fireworks show! Darrell and Terri Goins welcome you all to their home in Leighton AL for this FANTASTIC SHOW!!!!
Watching the show will be a little different this year as we want to continue to practice safe social distancing. Please either remain in or beside your vehicle. For those getting out of your vehicles please remember to keep a safe 6ft distance from others.
The show will start at 8:30!! You may park on either side of the driveway or in the designated pastures. Since other large shows in our area have been canceled parking vehicles will begin around 7:30.

Fourth of July in Downtown Cherokee
Head over to Downtown Cherokee to catch a free firework show put on by the Parks and Recreation Board of Cherokee. The Firework Show will take place as scheduled with the Governor’s orders still in effect.
You will be asked to stay ideally at your vehicle and if not, to follow all guidelines issued by Governor Ivey’s office.
The Park and Recreation Board looks forward to a spectacular fireworks show to honor our Great Nation. The show begins at 9:30 PM.
