Mr. Finus Jefferson, Jr. was born on November 14, 1943 to Emma and Finus Jefferson, Sr., both deceased of Madison, Alabama. He was married to Laura Jefferson (deceased) of Huntsville, Alabama. Finus accepted Christ at an early age and was a dedicated worker of Chambers (Coca-Cola) Bottling Company for over 35 years. He loved to cut grass for people in the neighborhood and loved his plants.
Finus leaves to cherish his memories three daughters: Laura A. Collier (Gary), Laura L. Robinson, and Venies Y. Moore; one son, Perry L. Jefferson (Alice), all from Huntsville, Alabama. He has six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a loving sister Henrietta; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other dear family members. He also leaves behind two dogs: Brownie and Chico.
Finus’ brothers: Wilson, Henry, and Roy; sisters: Lucy, Lucille, Annie Bell, Mae, and Mary; and son, Jerry Jefferson all preceded him in death.
The memorial service for Mr. Finus Jefferson, Jr. will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024, at The House of Hope Restoration (2525 Aspen Avenue NW, Huntsville, AL 35810).
