Finis Wilson Mr. Finis Wilson passed away peacefully on October 23, 2020, at Jackson Madison-County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at 11:00 AM in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel in Brownsville, TN with the burial to follow at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Greg Bowers will be officiating the service. Visitation for Mr. Wilson will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel. He was born on May 1, 1944 in the Stogum Bottom Community. He was a member of Bethel Community Church. He drove tractor trailers for over 40 years. He was a very active man and well liked by everyone. After retiring from driving trucks, he continued to drive a school bus until his death. Finis was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Rogers; two brothers, Jerry Wilson and Willie Wilson, and one sister, Evelyn Buckner. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Minnie Wilson; one son, Rodney Wilson (Cindy); one daughter, Tina Jetton (Randy); one step-son, William “Chip” Ray, and one step-daughter, Janet Gaters (Danny) all of Brownsville, TN. He leaves a legacy of five grandchildren, Aaron Rankin, Ariel Clark, Justin Gaters, Stacey Gaters and Scottie Ray; and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers for the service will be William “Chip” Ray, Dustin Clark, Anthony Rankin, Randy Jetton, Rickey Buckner and David Buckner. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Community Church, c/o Charles Greenway, 5932 Rudolph Road, Brownsville, TN 38012.
