Faynell L. Davis, 83, of Iuka, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Faynell was a lover of people. She enjoyed seeing others and socializing with them, especially at the laundromat she owned and at Tip’s BBQ. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Chris Davis (Lori) of Iuka; her grandchildren, Braxton Davis, McKinley Davis, and Allie Stokes, all of Iuka; her sister, Laura Bell Robinson of Iuka; her brother, Verdell Ledgewood of Iuka; her special nephew, Jessee Spangler; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George “Tip” Davis; her parents, Christopher Columbus “Lum” and Erma Robinson Ledgewood; and her siblings, Louise Spangler, Emogene Bullard, J.C. Ledgewood, Leroy Ledgewood, and Wanda Syler. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Patrick Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Stanley Magill. Burial will be in Patrick Cemetery.
