Faye Travis of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away Tuesday morning, July 2nd, 2024 at her home in Pulaski, Tennessee. She was born on January 11th, 1950 in Lester, Alabama and was 74 years old.
Faye was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family deeply. Faye was known for her kindness and compassionate nature, always going out of her way to help those in need. She had a special place in her heart for animals and children. Her patience, warmth, and genuine interest in the well being of animals and children touched the lives of many.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 5th, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm on Friday, July 5th, 2024 at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will take place at the Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson, Alabama.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Travis, her parents Jessie Eugene and Augusta Foust Comer, her sister Patricia Stanford along with her brothers Bobby and Kerry Comer.
Faye is survived by her,
Daughter, Alesia (Dennis) Janes of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Daughter, Jennifer Pailer of Christiana, Tennessee.
Grandchildren, Brenna and Micah Pailer.
Brother, Bill (Patricia) Comer of Minor Hill, Tennessee.
Brother, Johnny Comer of Minor Hill, Tennessee.
Sister, Helen Yarian of Florida.
Sister, Cindy (Kenny Wayne) Tucker of Rogersville, Alabama.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
