Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Sorrell, age 75, will be held at 10 AM Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Davidson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 9 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Shelton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sorrell passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at West TN Volunteer Hospital in Martin, TN.
Mrs. Sorrell was a retired dietitian employee for Trenton Special School District at the middle and elementary schools; a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Milan, TN; and for 47 years she was a pastors wife and helped with everything she could in the church for playing piano.
Mrs. Sorrell was preceded in death by her parents, Lexi and Mary DeVasier; a sister, Ann Bisbee; and two sons, Chris Sorrell and Jimmy Sorrell Jr.
Mrs. Sorrell is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jimmy Sorrell; a daughter, Beth Sorrell; a son, Daryl Sorrell; three sisters, Opal Gable, Denise Thomas, and Mary Reynolds; a brother, Jack English; a granddaughter, Cristy Vestal; and three great grandchildren, Allie Dunaway, Brantley Dunaway, and Daniel Vestal.
