Faye Milford Owen went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 10, 2023. Faye lived in McNairy County in various communities during her early years. She married Prince Owen in 1945 and they moved to Memphis where she worked and retired from Kimberly Clark. She was a member of Fisherville Baptist Church and an avid prayer warrior.
Faye was an amazing gardener and shared her bounty with her family, friends and neighbors. She also loved quilting.
Faye is survived by her son, Lonnie who lives in Destin, Fl with his wife Sharyn. She has one granddaughter, Kimberly Doonan, who lives in Bryant, AR with her husband Lindell and three great-grandsons Ryan (Amanda), Andy ( Amy) and Jacob Doonan also in Bryant, AR. Faye is also survived by her sister, Vicki Whitaker and her husband David of Midlothian, TX, their son, Brandon (Lori); Bobby Haskett, her long time friend’s son in Memphis.
Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Prince; her parents, Bob and Jewell Milford of Bethel Springs and three brothers, Welton, Jimmy, and Joe Neal Milford; one sister Mary Ruth Pickett; long time friend, Robert Haskett.
Visitation will be 1-3, Saturday, March 18 and service at 3 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer, TN. Interment will follow at Lake Hill Memorial Gardens in Bethel Springs, TN.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Fisherville Baptist in Fisherville, TN.
