Faye Janette Pannell Pickens, 95, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Resthaven Nursing Home in Ripley, MS. She was born on January 11, 1928, in New Albany, MS to Adolphus and Hester May Manning Pannell. Faye married Rev. Stewart Guy Pickens and had seven children.
Survivors include her children, Debra Spivey, Vickey Allen, and Jimmy Pickens; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents; four sons, Charles, Joe, and Robert Pickens; and her son-in-law, John Allen.
Services will be Friday, July 21, 2023, at 11AM at Pontotoc Apostolic Church with Bro. Bennie Randolph officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 20th 5-8PM and Friday, July 21st 10AM until service time. Burial will be in Parks Baptist Church Cemetery in Center, MS.
Pallbearers will be Kim Allen, Jonathan Allen, Amanda Wofford, Tristan Billingsley, Lynn Long, and Mark Pickens.
