Faye Ellenara Goff Walker, 85 of Morgan City passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at home. She was born March 7, 1939, in Pike County, Kentucky, the daughter of Willie Goff and Mellie Spears Goff. She married Max Dale Walker January 4, 1964, and was married for 43 years at the time of his passing January 29, 2007.
She is survived by her daughter: ReDonna Brown, husband: Marty; granddaughters: Catherine (Kyle) and Alexandra (Nic); host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends that came through her life that also called her “Momma”, “Mamaw” or “Granny Faye”. She was preceded in death by her husband: Max Walker; parents: Willie and Mellie Goff; siblings: Cecil Goff, Edsel Goff, Earl Goff, Darvell Goff, Aubrey Goff, Corbit Goff, Negotha Goff and Neva Jo Damron.
Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the Rescue Methodist Church with Jarod Andrews officiating. The burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery, Morgan City, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the Rescue Methodist Church, she will also lie-in-state Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m.
