Faye Dorris Toothman, age 84, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 1pm at the Hillcrest Church of Christ with Brother Joe Rushing, Brother Johnny Trail and Brother Jonathan Dedmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Greg Dedmon, Rodney Toothman, Cory Toothman, Gary Toothman, Don Hampton and Jimmy Lea serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at the Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Springfield on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 2-8pm and on Saturday at the Church from 11am until the hour of service at 1pm.
Mrs. Toothman was born November 1, 1937 in Cross Plains to the late John Russell and Bertha Flatt Dorris. She worked as a nurse and was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Toothman is preceded in death by her husband, Don Toothman, Sr., sister, Frances Heflin, sons, Terry and Gary Toothman, granddaughter, Jane Toothman, and great-grandson, Kynden Dedmon.
Mrs. Toothman is survived by her sons, Ralph (Kathleen) Toothman and Don (Susan) Toothman, Jr., both of Springfield; daughter, Diane (Gary) Dedmon of Springfield; brother, John Dorris of Cross Plains; grandchildren, Greg Dedmon, Jonathan Dedmon, Leah Lyons, Sarah Toothman, Rob Brown, Maggie Lea and Jenni Brown; and great-grandsons, Dylan, Austin, Dalton, Spencer, Brady and Carson.
If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Robertson County Senior Citizen’s Center or to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund. Any donations may be sent in c/o Austin & Bell.
