Funeral service for Fay Cocke Barber, 85, will be Monday, June 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rich Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barber died on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Columbia Cottage in Hartselle. She was born July 29, 1929, in Jefferson County to Gurney Asbury Lawrence and Vera Cora Black Lawrence. She was a self employed Seamtress and was preceded in death by two husband’s: Eugene S. “Tootie” Cocke in 1989 and Donald Barber in 1998, a son: Bobby Cocke, a son-in-law: Tony Miller, a brother: Oscar Lawrence, and a great grandchild: Dakota Shane Cocke.
