A Funeral service for Fay McDonald, 85, of Hartselle will be at 1:00PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Burcham officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The Visitation will be from 11:00PM – 1:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. McDonald was born on August 16, 1938 in morgan county in Alabama to Dewey and Carrie Ledlow. She died on November 24, 2023 at her residence.
Fay was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She was a simple woman that loved to sew, loved her family, and always went to church. Mrs. McDonald was very close to her best friends, Levada and Betty, and she was proud to tell people she had a big family. She always said she was one of eleven children. Fay was Preceded in death by husband: Robert McDonald, Parents: Dewey and Carrie Ledlow, three brothers: Micheal Ledlow, Hardy Ledlow, and Clinton Ledlow, One sister- Louise Tucker, and One Daughter: Ann Davenport.
Survivors Include:
Two Daughters: Kay Fayard and Judy McDonald.
Three Brothers: Clyde Ledlow, Clayton Ledlow, and Donald Ledlow.
Three Sisters: Patricia Maze, Francis Stover, and Carolyn Smith.
Seven Grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lance Fowler, Briane Fowler, Brad Fowler, Mark Curvin, Nathaniel Davenport, and James McDonald.
