Fay Eslick Bevill passed away Monday morning, April 15, 2024, at her home in Pulaski surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pulaski, Tennessee, on July 28, 1936, and was 87 years old.
She was the patriarch of the Bevill family – a loving wife to Johnny, wonderful mother to three daughters, “Mrs. Fay” to generations of employees at Davis and Eslick, and “MawMaw” to six grands and ten great-grandchildren. Until recent years, she never missed a beauty pageant, talent show, soccer match, baseball, basketball or softball game. She was a supporter of all and loved by so many. Her family and her faith were constant blessings in her 87 years of life.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Pulaski. The funeral service will follow directly at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church. The burial will take place after in Maplewood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward Arrow and Mary Lena Cole Eslick and sister Patricia Eslick Delap and brother-in-law, Jerry Delap.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Johnny Bevill of Pulaski, Tennessee, and daughters Connie (Phil) Carpenter, Pam (Bobby) Holley, and Mary Susan (Winston) Upchurch, all of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Six surviving grandchildren include, Courtney (John) Childers of Knoxville, Tennessee, Catherine (Colby) Baddour of Pulaski, Rob (Grace) Holley of Pulaski, Mary Lauren (Sean) Furlong of Jacksonville, Florida, Heather (Drew) Bowman of Athens, Alabama, and Maggie (Andrew) Morris of Pulaski.
Her great-grandchildren, Crawford and Cole Childers, Caroline and Colbrook Baddour, Ivy and Calah Morris, Lena and Cameron Holley, Mary Kate Furlong, and Bennett Bowman, held a special place in her heart. They, along with the rest of the family, will miss their MawMaw very much.
