Fay E. McDonald was born July 31, 1930 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Grady Thedus and Clara Emma Boyd McDonald. He was united in marriage to Edna Sue Kelley on November 22, 1947 in Corinth Mississippi.
Mr. McDonald departed this life on January 14, 2017 in Wayne Medical Center at Waynesboro, Tennessee the age of 86 Years, 5 Months, 14 Days. He is survived by his wife Edna Sue (Kelley) McDonald of Waynesboro, TN.
He was of the Baptist faith; his hobbies included repairing and restoring antique cars.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by Grandparents, Samuel McDonald, Mary Lineberry McDonald.
Services will be held on Monday January 16, at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, with Bro. H.H. Hurst officiating. Visitation begins Sunday January 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 8;00am until service time. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee.
