Mrs. Favis Fuqua-Jones In loving memory of Mrs. Favis Fuqua-Jones of Huntsville, AL, who transitioned on February 25, 2025, after a short illness, she’s the daughter of the late Nathaniel Fuqua & the late Edith Fuqua-Miller, and stepdaughter to the late Artis Miller Jr.

In her early years, she enjoyed skating and dancing, but in the latter years, she enjoyed cooking and crafts. She enjoyed life to the fullest while loving and enjoying all the children that surrounded her throughout her life. She loved caring for everyone who came into her life unconditionally. She was protective of anyone she loved. Many who knew her would say she was bolder than life. If you met her once, you never forgot the meeting because she made an impression on everyone. She had a special personality. If you got to know her, you loved her. If she loved you, you knew it.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jones; her mother, Edith Fuqua-Miller; her father, Nathaniel Fuqua; her stepfather, Artis Miller Jr; her maternal grandparents, Madgie Minor and George Barnett; her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Fuqua; her aunts, Eloise Smith and Wanda “Peppa” Key; her nephew, Darrian Fuqua and her niece, Alexandra Savage.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Miyoshi Fuqua-Howell (Kevin), Cierra Falconer and Jaleesa Fuqua, all of Huntsville, AL; three granddaughters, Ke’Tara Fuqua, La’Kaila Fuqua and Kayleonia Fulton all of Huntsville, AL; two grandsons, KeAndre Reynolds and Kwentrell Reynolds, both of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Fred Fuqua (Nichole), of Miami, FL; three sisters, Telica Peacha (John) of Clearwater, FL, Teresa Fuqua of Marietta, GA and Felita Fuqua of Atlanta, GA and, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

A private family memorial will be held later.
