Fausteen R. Birdwell age 98 of Athens, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Birdwell was born January 15, 1918 in Limestone County, AL.to Perry H. Rogers and Mary Lewis Rogers.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 26, 2016 11:00 a.m., at Athens City Cemetery with Bud White officiating. There will be no visitation. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home assisting the family.
Mrs. Birdwell was a member of the Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Mary Rogers; husband, Emmett Birdwell; one son, Charles E. Birdwell.
Survived by two sons, Felix Birdwell and wife, Mary and Perry Birdwell both of Athens; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Estline Baker of Athens; several nieces and nephews.
