Fannie Mae “Fran” Kitchens Daniel, born June 7, 1934, formerly of Kitchens Mill, Alabama, passed away April 14, 2013. She was born in Logan County, Tennessee, to John and Mary Kitchens. Fran was a devoted military chaplain’s wife and mother.
She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Seaburn Sidney Daniel; brother, Robert Dean Kitchens; brother-in-law, Fred Wright Jr.; sister-in-law, Sue Lee Kitchens; and grandchild, Colleen Adelle Daniel.
Loving survivors include her sons, John Sidney (Mary Jean) Daniel, of Hot Springs, Ark., and Keith Dale Daniel of Lacon; daughter, Lisa Marie (Larry) Swain of Galion, Ohio; brother, John Horace Kitchens of Lawrence County; sisters, Addie Lee Wright of Decatur and Minnie Berg Kitchens (Dwain) Fairbanks of Falkville; sister-in-law, Lois Millwood Kitchens Gillespie of Midway; and grandchildren, Justine Jem Daniel (Noah)Taylor, Christy Danielle Swain (Jeremy) Zender, Calen Gabriel Daniel and Isaac Paul Swain.
A memorial service in her honor will be held Friday, April 19, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Belleview Baptist Church, 5539 Old Moulton Road, Decatur, AL. Please join us in a celebration of her life.
