Fannie Mae  "Faye" Maxwell Fannie Mae “Faye” Maxwell, age 84 of Huntland, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Franklin County on October 23, 1935 to the late Orien and Delma (Couch) Owens. Faye owned and operated Maxwell Grocery for forty years. She enjoyed music and attending gospel singings, as well as working crossword puzzles, but most of all she loved taking care of all the children in the family and her beloved dog, “Dixie.” Faye was a member of Huntland Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Hugo Maxwell; sons, Dennis Keith Maxwell, and Thomas Darwin Maxwell; grandson, Richard Allen Maxwell; grandparents, Warren and Nora (Money) Owens; siblings, Fred Owens, Frank Owens, Wayne Owens, and Nora Owens Morris; and step-mother, Dora Songer Owens She is survived by her children, George Allan Maxwell, and Sandra Lynn Maxwell; grandchildren, Terry (Rebecca) Maxwell, Pamela (Clifford) Camp, Brock (Jayna) Maxwell, Lori Maxwell, Julie Maxwell, Luis Hermosillo; great-grandchildren, Blain, Haley, CJ, Brody, and Sadie Jo; siblings, Diana (Steve) Cole, Debbie Owens, Max (Mary) Owens, Jim (Marie) Owens, Jackie Owens, Roy (Trudy) Owens, Larry (Debbie) Owens, and David Owens; and special friend, Edna Bradley. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev.
