Fannie Christine Llewellyn Smith age 94 ended her earthly journey on August 8, 2015. She was born August 12, 1920 to Roland Vernon Llewellyn and Bertha Parrish Llewellyn and a life long Lauderdale County resident born in the Burcham Valley community. She was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1938. She was life long homemaker who always put her husband and children first every day of her life. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, gardening, camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Killen Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Aaron Smith. Her parents Roland Vernon Llewellyn and Bertha Parrish Llewellyn. Her siblings Eugene Llewellyn and wife Dorothy, Mary Inez Llewellyn Smith and husband Lawrence, Vernon Lloyd Llewellyn. Her daughter Sandy Sue Smith Lumpkin. Her grandson Mark Berry. And her son-in-law Ronnie Olive.
She is survived by her son Willie (Billy) Aaron Smith Florence and wife Sherry, Daughters Janice Faye Smith Olive Florence, Janet Gaye Smith Berry Florence and husband Dickie. Her Grandchildren Natalie Smith Chanin Florence, Johnny Olive Florence, Christin Olive Hitchcock Ypsilanti, Mi., Matthew Olive Madison Al., Lee Berry Brownsville Tn., and Emily Olive Faint Birmingham Al. Her Great Grandchildren Zach Chanin, Maggie Chanin, Zane Olive, Zeth Olive, Nicole Glover, Steven Hitchcock, Scott Hitchcock, Haylie Hitchcock, Abbey Berry, Smith Berry, Davis Fant, and Harper, Fant. Her sister-in-law Mary Llewellyn and her great great grandchild Stella Ruth Chanin. She leaves many loving friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends and family visitation at Greenview Funeral Home at 3657 Old Chrisom Road in Florence on August 10, 2015 from 11:30 am to 1 pm with a service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm with Stan Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Greenview Memorial Park immediately following the service.
