Mrs. Fannie Ann Web Dutton, 67, of Scottsboro, died November 10, 2019 at 3:30 pm. She passed after a complication with a surgery at Huntsville Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Webb officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
Ann Dutton was born on June 20th, 1952 in Larkinsville, AL. She graduated from Scottsboro High school in 1970 and from Jacksonville State College with a Master’s in Education. She taught in the Scottsboro School system for 36 years at both Brownwood Elementary and Scottsboro Junior High School where she retired in May 2012. She loved teaching as both a P.E. teacher and a math teacher. She volunteered for 14 years working with the Scottsboro Swim Team as a referee and avid supporter for both of her children. She was also an active member of the Alpha Delta Kappa teachers’ sorority.

Ann is survived by her husband, Charles Dutton and two sons, Cody and Zane (Christi) Dutton; her sister, Carolyn Guyse; four brothers, Larry (Annette), Bill (Wanda), Winfred (Pat), and Randy (Regina) Webb along with several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her sister, Brenda Clark and parents, Thomas and Nola Webb
