FAULKVILLE-The Town of Falkville, along with the Falkville Volunteer Fire Department, is gearing up for its Falkville Fall Festival where the community and visitors are invited to spend the day enjoying music and family-friendly activities. The annual event is set for October 8, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and admission is free.
A pancake breakfast at the Volunteer Fire Department kicks things off at 7 a.m. where plenty of the fluffy hot cakes will be served until 11 a.m. Donations to the Fire Department will be accepted at the door. The Color Me Downtown 5K run/walk hits the streets at 8 a.m. beginning at the pavilion located at 1076 Culver Road, with arts and crafts vendors, a car show, antique tractor show and food vendors set up for everyone to enjoy throughout the day along with live music. Bingo gets underway at 9 a.m. and for children, there will be plenty of fun and games, including a mechanical bull, to keep them entertained throughout the day.
