Ezra Smotherman of Flintville, Tennessee passed away at his home. He was 69 and grew up in Hazel Green and attended Hazel Green School. He loved his family and had many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Earl Smotherman; His mother, Evelyn Louise Smotherman; His brother, Bob Smotherman; His brother, Rickey David Smotherman; His nephew, Timothy de la Torres; His great-niece, Shay Seals.
Surviving family members include his sister, Peggy (Daniel) de la Torres; and his brother, Joe (Susan) Smotherman. His sister, Grapy (Aaron) Hovis; His brother, Roger Smotheman; His nieces: Cindy Powers, DeeDee Grimes, Jody Grimes, Kasey Lewis, Pam Smotherman, and Michelle Seals; His nephew, Chris Smotherman. He is also survived by many friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday at 11am at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:30pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor John Dees officiating. Burial will then be in Charity Cemetery.
