Evie Christine Clem age 93 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, February 05, 2013 at Limestone Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Clem was born December 29, 1919 in Limestone County to Thomas Taylor and Mary E. Clark Taylor.

Services for Mrs. Clem are Friday, February 8, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery with Dr. Rick Craft, Mark Flaherty and Dale Taylor officiating.

She was a member of First Church of Athens.

She is survived by her sons, Hollis Chambers and Linda Hobson, and Harold Johns and wife Nicole; step-daughter, Bonnie Putman; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 10 great great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin Taylor and wife Mag; sister, Faye Logston and husband Bill; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Taylor; 3 husbands, Oneal Chambers, Clifford Johns and Fred Clem; grandson, Stephen Putman; 8 brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers are Hershall Austin, Brad Scott, Floyd Adams, Jonathon Craft, Randy Campbell, Ricky Logston, Roger Logston and Troy Taylor.
