Everitt Harvey Sliger, age 68, of Russellville (formerly of Texas), passed away on Friday, January 07, 2022 at North Alabama Medical Center.
Everitt worked for 31 years for Exxon as an instrument technician. He loved fishing, ATVing, and was a JuDo instructor. He was a Lutheran Synodic approved minister. He had lived in Russellville for the last seven years, and enjoyed his time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death his parents, E.F. & Mary Ruth (McClurg) Sliger; and brother, Ernest Sliger.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years, Shirley West Sliger; daughter, Rhonda Sliger of Mabank, TX; brother, Edward Sliger of Florence; and a host of close friends and neighbors.
A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date.
