Everette Earl Conn, 92, of Panama City Beach, Florida, and Harvest, AL, passed away on Friday, December 27th, 2024. Mr. Conn was born on October 13th, 1932, to Earl and Irene (Sweeny) Conn.
Mr. Conn is survived by his sons David Conn (Fay) and Duane Conn (Kay); grandchildren Eric Conn (Amy), Alan Conn, and Ashley Schostag (T.J.); great-grandchildren Hannah Conn and Benjamin Conn; sisters-in-law Joyce Conn and Dorene Dunnavant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by wife Elaine (Totsie) Conn; sister Joann Burton; and brother Calvin Conn.
Funeral service will be Monday, December 30th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, John Gibson and Trent Barksdale officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 29th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the chapel. Pallbearers will be Eric Conn, Alan Conn, Steve Conn, Jeff Dunnavant, Joe Conn, and Time Burton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Bowers, Lance Taylor, Granville Cribbs, and T.J. Schostag. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Conn was born and raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He was a pastor for sixty-five years. Thirty-seven of those years were at Capshaw Church of Christ and seventeen years at Mount Zion Church of Christ. He met the love of his life in college and was married to Totsie for sixty-seven years. Mr. Conn enjoyed watching Alabama football and Atlanta Braves baseball. He was known by many as Papa Conn.
