Everett Eugene (Gene) Gallien of Iron City, TN was born August 25, 1958 in Florence, AL, the son of the late Leland and Lila Ruth O’Bryant Gallien. Mr. Gallien was a disabled factory worker and departed this life on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 62 Years, 11 Months and 7 Days.
He is survived by a brother, Michael W. (Mike) Gallien and sisters, Carolyn Ann Mauldin, Janis Faye Cook and Deborah Annette Jackson (Michael) all of Iron City, TN; nephews, Dewayne Mauldon, Chris Mauldon (Sabrina), Corey Jackson and Matt Gallien and nieces, Amy Payne (Jason), Emily Jackson and Megan Gallien.
A graveside service will be Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 3 pm the Whitten’s Crossroads Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Chris Mauldon officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation will be from 2:30 pm to service time at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matt Gallien, Corey Jackson, Chris Mauldon, Jason Payne, Dewayne Mauldon and Mike Jackson with honorary pallbearers being Steve Butler and Jerry Roberson.
