Evelyn W. Brown of Cullman, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the age of 93. She was born in Etowah County, AL on February 20, 1927 to Claude and Leona Walker Roberson. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a strong lady and dedicated her life to being a homemaker. As a talented seamstress, she made clothes for her daughters and for the public. She loved traveling and had traveled to every state except Hawaii and Alaska. She especially loved the Smokey Mountains. Evelyn was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church but attended Eastside Baptist Church in her later years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wallace M. Brown, Sr.; siblings: Della Mae Thrasher, Lillian Maddox, Malcolm Roberson and Virgil Roberson and grandsons: Clay Glasscock and Tony Brock. Survivors include her daughters: Charlene (David) Brock and Ruby (Don) Glasscock; son, Wallace Brown, Jr.; grandchildren: Sherry (Chris) Lucas, Jonathan (Relinda) Harbison, Lee (Julie) Brown and Wesley (Amber) Brown; granddaughter-in-law, Angie Brock; great grandchildren: Josh, Tommy and Ruby Ann Lucas, Madison, Aliyah, Sadie, Johnny Ray, Taneasha, Jordan, Keevan, Keyona Harbison, Allie, Jamon, Rance, L.J., Brayden, Carter and Kalie Brown and two great great grandchildren. Her graveside service will be at Cullman City Cemetery on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Sam Hollis officiating. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.
