Funeral services for Evelyn Ruth Huddlestun age 79 of Ashland will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland, burial will follow at Springhill Baptist Church cemetery.
Ms. Huddlestun was born in Kentucky and raised in Gary, Indiana. She then moved to Clay County in 1990 and lived in this area most of her life. She was a skilled beautician. She loved working outdoors with her flowers and her garden. She also loved taking walks and being around nature. She was an avid Alabama fan and loved to play bingo in her spare time.
She is survived by her sons; Barry Jenkins of Elberta, AL and Mark Jenkins of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchild, Steven Jenkins (Ashland); sister, Louise Bryant(Cleve), Ashland; and three brothers, Billy Williamson (Salem, Ky), David Williamson (San Marcos, California), and Larry Williamson (Ashland).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Huddlestun; 2 brothers, Ronnie Williamson and Gilbert Williamson.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, December 12, 2022 from 12:30 until 2:00 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland.
