A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 30th, 2024, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home from 12pm to 1:45pm with services following at 2pm in the chapel. Donald Terry will be officiating the service.

Evelyn moved to Athens in 1987 and started a job at Dubs Burgers where she worked for 30 years or more.
Many people started the day with Evelyn serving them up breakfast.
Evelyn sometimes gave off a brusque attitude to those that didn’t know her; but those that knew her knew better.
Her family is what she loved. She was a selfless and loving “Nanny”.
She was overwhelmed with joy and pride of having six great-grandchildren to spoil, just as she had done with her grandchildren, and she continued to over spoil them as adults with her gifts of Homemade preserves, peanut butter fudge, chocolate pies and dressing.
She especially enjoyed the holidays- because she knew that she would have her entire world in her living room.
