Mrs. Evelyn Irene Gross Smith, age 96 of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Donna King officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her grandchildren, Cody Smith and Jordan Clardy (Chris); great grandchildren, Zoe Clardy, Cheyenne Clardy, Lane Smith, Jase Smith, and Della Smith; sisters, Jean Hale and Nina Brandon; brothers, Robert Gross; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Lois Roberts; and close friends, Glenda, Sandra, Landy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Don Smith; son, Ronald Wayne Smith; daughter, Donna Singler; along with her parents and siblings.
