Evelyn Gifford Sisk, 86, went peacefully to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne H. Sisk; parents, Herbert and Ruby Gifford and brother, Robert Harold Gifford.
Mrs. Sisk is survived by her son, Eddie Sisk (Felicia); daughters, Susan Simmons (Lynn), Dianne Sisk, Nancy Nunnelley (Lynn) and Beverly Bell (Jamie). Sister, Martha Clayton; sister-n-law, Dorothy Sisk; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church at 2:00pm will Bro Lynn Simmons officiating. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 11:00am until 2:00pm at the church prior to the funeral service. The burial will be in Clay Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott Sanders, Brandon Sisk, Derek Allen, Josh Vandiver, Jason Potts, Matthew Durham, Casey Lowery, Bryan Durham and Harlan Bell.
