Mrs. Evelyn Aguon Ford, age 69 of Athens, AL passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at UAB Hospital. Evelyn was born on July 8, 1949 in Inarajan, Guam to Vicente Fejeran Aguon and Rosalina Meno Duenas.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Miles (Mike) Ford; daughters, Mikell McDonald Holhouser of Trinidad, CO, Tangie McDonald Collins of Lester, AL and Nora McDonald McCarthy of Jacksonville, AL; son, Jeremy Michael Ford of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Kelly Sobal of San Diego, CA, Mallory Sobal Reihle of Virginia Beach VA, Tayla Walker, Reed Walker, Tanner Walker all of Lester, AL, Jacob Collins, Ohio, Allie McCarthy, Alyssa McCarthy, Jake McCarthy all of Fleming Island, FL, Ivy Lynn Ford of El Paso, TX; great-grandchildren, Violet Reihle, Hazel Reihle and Sommer Reihle; brothers and sisters, Julia Roth of Overland Park KS, Junior Aguon of National City, CA, Joseph Aguon of Seattle, WA, Linda Freely of San Diego, CA, Vivian Lelevier of Indianapolis IN, Milan Aguon of Limon Grove, CA, Rosiline Stephens of National City, CA and Arlene Brown of Seattle, WA.
Preceded in death by brothers, Chris Aguon of San Diego, CA and George Aguon of Maricopa, AZ; sister, Celia Aguon Bonilla of National City, CA.
Additionally, there are numerous nephews and nieces who call Evelyn “Auntie” as well as friends of her daughters’ and grandkids who refer to Evelyn as “Mom.” The list of friends would be endless, as she knew no strangers.
