Evelina Harris, age 76 of Arab, Alabama passed away Friday, July 31, 2020. She was born in Visalia, California and has been a resident of Arab since 1989. Ms. Evelina was the daughter of Glenn and Francis Alderman Hopper and the widow of Euell Harris who passed away April 8, 2013. She was of the Baptist Faith, enjoyed the art painting, crafting, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Anthony Harris (Londa), David Harris; two daughters, Jennifer LaRue (Dale), Lori Hamilton; brothers, Earl Hopper, Thurmon Hopper, Robert Hopper; sisters, Norma Griffith, Deloris Garner, Helen Hopper and is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. She also had six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in the chapel of Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with her funeral service following at 2:00 PM. Burial will be held at Shoal Creek Cemetery, Arab Al. Matt Scott will be officiating.
Pallbearers are C.J. Pippin, Kyle Harris, Blake Johnson, Josh Link, Michael Chappel and Dale LaRue.
