Eva Rae McRight Sneed died peacefully at her daughter’s home on Sept. 24, 2016. Rae was born Feb. 19, 1922, to Terry and Carrie McRight and was the last survivor of 16 children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Sneed.
Rae is survived by two daughters, Linda Smith (Dewayne), of Moulton, and Judy Young (Bob), of Florence, and one son, Ben Sneed (Marna), of Muscle Shoals. She is also survived and loved by six granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Lawrence Funeral Home in Moulton with a graveside service following at Mt. Hope Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig Shadinger, Mark Srouji, Brad Lamon, Josh Hurst, Jimmy Cook, and Anthony Inman.
