Eva Nell Wright Howard, age 94, of Sheffield, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023. Visitation will be Monday, August 7th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Cox Blvd Church of Christ. The service will follow at 1:00 pm at the church with Brother Larry Kilpatrick, Brother Wade Hunter, and Brother Scott Livingston officiating. Burial will be at Sheffield Oakwood. Pallbearers are Brian Howard, Eric McMurtrey, Cylus McMurtry, Cayden Goodloe, John and Matt Mothershed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Maggie “Maw” Wright; husband, Carlin Howard; son, Conny Howard.
Survivors are her children, Tommy “Peanut” Howard (Sherri), daughter, Teresa Benson, and Renee Maxwell; grandchildren, Bryan, Rachel, Lindsey, Eric, and Blake; great-grandchildren, Katie, Cayden, Carleigh, Cylus, Addie and Teddy.
Eva was a member of Cox Blvd Church of Christ, was retired with Rudy’s farm and was a lifelong homemaker. She loved her church and family. A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for their love and care. Williams Funeral Home of Florence directing.
