Eva Mae Brown, 86, of Haleyville, entered into rest on July 2, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Brown was born on May 28, 1931, in Cloverdale, Alabama. She loved to dance, travel, life, and her family. She loved to take care of her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 from 1:30pm-3pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 3pm. Brother Ricky White will officiate. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Eva is survived by her sons, Donny (Kelly) Brown and Houston (Kathy) Brown; daughters, Faye Brewer, Susie (James) Banks and Alisa Cruze; brothers, Malcolm (Myrtle) Markham, Thomas (Wanda) Markham; she was “Grandma or Maw Maw” to her grandchildren, Debbie, Sam, David, Sarah, James Billy, Paul, Barry, Phillip, Peggy, Barbara, Dewayne, Angela, Stacy, Amber, Christina, Amanda, Ariel, John, Danny, and Carlton; great grandchildren, Craig, Becky, Linda, Joe, Samantha, Chris, Alex, Brittney, Tiffany, Christian, Austin, Lizzie, Kassie, Katlyn, Kylie, Ava, Cynthia, Robert, Mary, Jessica, Heather, Jonathan, Katie, Chandler, Matthew, Emma Sue, Devin, Savannah, Aslynn, Caspiah, Tabatha, and Dana; great great-grandchildren; Annaliegha, Jamie, Cody, Madison, Aedely, Brycen, Kylie, and McKynlee.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lec Smith; second husband, Roy Brown; parents, Elihugh (Slick) and Eula Markham; daughters, Virginia, Brenda, Peggy; sister, Hazel Bamberg; brothers; Logan and Robert; nephew, Terry Brewer; niece, Theresa; great-grandchild, Ethan Bates; son- in laws, Leroy, Billy, and Carl.
