Ms. Eva Lee Pride JacksonEva Lee Pride Jackson was born on August 17, 1946 in Huntsville, Alabama to Albert H. Pride and Mabel S (Davidson) Pride. She departed on July 29, 2023 and went home to be with the Lord, who was first and foremost in her life. She was a faithful servant for 25 plus years. She attended William H Councill High School Class Of 1964. Also, served in the United States Navy. She was a faithful member of Compassion Ministries until her passing. She loved to be around her grandchildren, going out to eat, studying her word, and enjoyed walking down every aisle at Walmart.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, five brothers, Albert H. Pride, Richard A. Pride, James E. Pride, Milton Pride, and Elder Thomas N. Pride, five sisters, Hattie B. Brooks, Gladys M. Corn, Elma L Mabry, Evangelist Irene P. Hines, and Sameyetta Byrd. She leaves two Sister-In-Laws Ada Pride of Huntsville, Alabama and Willie Beatrice Pride of Louisville, Kentucky.

Eva, leaves to cherish her memory of her three children, two sons Tareyton Jackson and special friend Bertha Harper of Huntsville, Alabama. Derwin Jackson (Ramona) of Hazel Green, Alabama. One daughter Tamara R Jackson of Huntsville, Alabama. Eva, had several grandchildren, that she was proud of Deneishia K. Wainwright (Keith) of Madison, Alabama, Tearra D. Jackson of Houston, Texas, JaCorey Moss of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Joel Weaver (Stepheny) of Dallas, Texas, Damaris T. Jackson of Huntsville, Alabama, Melody Laney (Treveon) of Phoenix City, Alabama, Shaquille Wesson, Shakira Wesson and Elijah D. Jackson of Hazel Green, Alabama. She leaves eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, admirers, and friends.

 

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Sunday, August 6, 2023, at the Royal Chapel of Memories (4315 Oakwood Avenue NW Huntsville, AL 35810) with Pastor Wilma Burton officiating. Interment will be in the Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, August 5, 2023, and 9:00 until 12:00 noon, Sunday, August 6, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
