Eva Christine Blankenship, 95, of Moulton passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at NHC of Moulton. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Ron Edgil and Bro. Roger Houston officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery.
Born on February 24, 1928 to the late Lowen and Sarah Landers Borden, Eva was a member of Cave Springs Free Will Baptist Church. She loved to mow her grass and work with her flowers along with making quilts for her family.
Survivors include her children, Euvone Clemons, Jerreld (Kathy) Blankenship, and Tim (Della) Blankenship; grandchildren, Wendy (Kendell) Everett, Mark (Reginna) Blankenship, Carol (Roger) Jones, Jerry (Cherlyn) Clemons, Timothy Blankenship, Crystal (David) Cox; great-grandchildren, Hannah (Malcolm) Watson, Shelley (Nick) Reynolds, Cheyanne (Jacob) Walls, Malikye Cox, and Serenity Cox; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Blankenship; son, Ferrell Blankenship; grandsons, Caleb Blankenship, and Josh Blankenship; parents; son-in-law, Millard Clemons; daughter-in-law, Judy Hart; sisters, Rosie Borden, Lela Hunt, and Illa Mullis; and brothers, Irvin Borden, Lloyd Borden, L. G. Borden, O. C. Borden, and Everett Borden.
Pallbearers will be Kendell Everett, Mark Blankenship, Jerry Clemons, Roger Jones, David Cox, and Steve Mardis.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of NHC of Moulton and Hospice of the Valley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideon Bible Program.
