Euphenia F. Gilbert, age 89, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 . She was born May 8, 1928 , the daughter of the late Hugh Hampton Foster and Ruby Pearl Garrard Foster, was a member of Thornhill Church of Christ, belonged to the Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary.
Visitation is Friday, November 24, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service is Friday, November 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ronnie Holt and Arvy Dupuy officiating. Burial in Thornhill Cemetery.
She is survived by, husband James E. Gilbert; children, Paul (Joline) Huddleston, Tom (Patricia) Embry and Mark (Janet) Huddleston; sister, Ruby Dean Taylor; grandchildren, Jason Huddleston, Hampton Huddleston, Adam Bevis, Nathan Bevis, May Savage and Nancy Van Wyk; 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Harold Huddleston; brother, Clifton Foster.
